This time we booked the ferry in advance. The only problem was that we overslept it.
We were told to buy another one-way tickets from Helsinki to Tallinn and the problem was because I did not have my student card with me, but still we still managed to arrange things in our favor. One-way ticket to Estonia costed 22€ per person, so all together 44€.
The one-way journey took us 2,5 hours
Here is a panoramic photograph of the Tallinn's port and our ferry as well:
It took us 15 minutes by foot to reach the city centre:
We went to the ''Everything's store'' that was open 24 hours to buy some food which was way cheaper than it is in Slovenia. It was basically for free, comparing to Finland.
The food store was different, but in a good way. I felt I was in the previus century or something and it had it's own charm.
Souvenir shops had everything, associated with the former Eastern Bloc, for sale.
They had amber from Lithuania, Latvian folk outfits, Russian babushkas,...
After we went in every store they had in Tallinn, we decided to go to back to Helsinki, so we walked back to the Tallinn's port. We walked back to the expensice world. Worst feeling ever.
Love,
Leja
